Make Room for What Matters

Life rarely slows down on its own.

We spend our days responding, producing, caring for others, solving problems, and moving from one obligation to the next. Somewhere along the way, we can lose touch with the simplest things: how we breathe, how we rest, how we feel, and what brings us joy.

Isola Sedona is an invitation to step away from the familiar pace of everyday life.

Created by physician Ravi Shankar Aysola, the experience brings together the science of sleep and circadian physiology with mindful movement, breath, meditation, meaningful conversation, and time in nature.

Not to escape life, but to return to it with greater awareness and intention.

Why Sedona?

Sedona is a special place.

The vast red rock formations, changing desert light, expansive horizons, and extraordinary night skies create opportunities to pay attention to things we often overlook.

As a designated International Dark Sky Community, Sedona offers a remarkable setting for experiencing the transition from daylight to darkness and reconnecting with natural rhythms.

Morning light. Open space. A changing sky. Quiet evenings.

The environment is not a medical treatment. It is part of an experience designed to encourage presence, reflection, and rest.

The Experience

Isola Sedona is intentionally small, personal, and unhurried.

Over several days, guests will explore practices and ideas drawn from sleep and circadian science, restorative physiology, mindfulness, and the relationship between physical and emotional well-being.

The experience may include:

  • Gentle yoga, movement, and accessible breath practices

  • Meditation and guided reflection

  • Understanding sleep, circadian rhythms, and recovery

  • Time outdoors, natural light, and evening stargazing

  • Meaningful conversation and shared experiences

  • Unstructured time for solitude, exploration, or simply being

A More Personal Retreat

Each gathering will bring together a small group of guests in a carefully selected setting, with opportunities for both shared experiences and individual reflection.

Rather than a rigid schedule of activities, the experience will balance guided sessions with time to rest, explore, and connect.

The retreat is educational and experiential. It does not substitute for individualized medical evaluation or treatment.
