Sleep Better.
Think Clearly
Live Fully.
Expert care in Sleep, Respiratory, and Restorative Medicine.
At The Aysola Center, we believe that exceptional health begins with understanding how we sleep, breathe, and recover.
Led by Ravi Shankar Aysola, MD, our practice combines academic expertise with deeply personalized medical care. Whether you are navigating a complex medical condition, struggling with persistent fatigue, managing the demands of a busy professional life, or seeking to preserve your cognitive health and vitality as you age, we begin by seeking to understand your physiology, your priorities, and the life you want to live.

Across every service, our guiding principle remains the same: thoughtful, evidence-based medicine tailored to the individual.
Our Philosophy
We help people live well across the full arc of life.
That includes preventing disease when we can, recovering from illness and injury when life is unpredictable, adapting to challenges that can't be changed, and pursuing the highest level of health, performance, purpose, and fulfillment for each individual.
We recognize that life doesn't pause for illness. People keep raising children, caring for parents and partners, creating, leading, grieving, celebrating. Responsibilities and relationships don't just disappear.
So our role is not just to treat diseases. It is to care for the whole person within a real life.
We believe medicine is at its best when it combines scientific rigor with genuine understanding. Data and technology matter. Careful listening and human connection matter. The most effective care brings them together.
Whether the focus is prevention, recovery, adaptation, or finding comfort and dignity during life's most difficult moments, our commitment is the same: to walk with each person in a way that is thoughtful, personal, evidence-informed, and grounded in compassion.
Our purpose is simple:
We help people live as fully as possible, for as long as possible, according to what matters most to them.

That means your history gets a comprehensive review, a diagnostic and treatment strategy built around you, and a plan you actually understand and can follow.
Expertise That Connects the Dots
Sleep, breathing, neurological function, cardiovascular health, and physical performance are deeply interconnected. Understanding these relationships is central to how Dr. Aysola approaches medicine.
From complex respiratory and neuromuscular conditions to common sleep disorders, circadian disruption, and concerns about long-term health, his approach combines scientific investigation, clinical experience, and careful attention to the individual.
The goal is to understand the underlying physiology, identify meaningful opportunities for intervention, and develop a plan that improves how you feel, function, and live.
The work does not fit neatly into one discipline. Neither does recovery.
The Clinician
Dr. Aysola brings over 25 years of clinical, academic, and research experience to the practice of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Board-certified across all four disciplines, he has dedicated his career to investigating the complex relationships between sleep, breathing, neurological function, and human health. His approach combines extensive clinical experience, physiological expertise, and a commitment to understanding each patient beyond an individual diagnosis.
The Scientist
Dr. Aysola's academic and scientific work explores the relationships between sleep-disordered breathing, brain health, autonomic regulation, and restorative physiology. Through clinical investigation, collaborative research, and peer-reviewed publications, he has contributed to a deeper understanding of how disrupted sleep and breathing affect human function. His work reflects a commitment to translating scientific discovery into practical, evidence-based care that improves patients' lives.
