Better Sleep. Better Health. A Better Life.

Sleep and breathing influence how we think, feel, function, and recover. When they are disrupted, the consequences can extend far beyond fatigue, affecting cardiovascular health, cognitive function, emotional well-being, and quality of life.

At The Aysola Center, we bring specialized medical expertise and individualized attention to understanding these complex relationships and helping patients achieve better health.

Sound Familiar?

  • You wake feeling unrefreshed despite spending adequate time in bed.

  • You have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder, but treatment has not provided the improvement you expected.

  • Your sleep, breathing, or fatigue is affecting your concentration, health, relationships, or daily activities.

  • Frequent travel, irregular schedules, or demanding responsibilities make restorative sleep difficult to achieve.

  • You are concerned about how disrupted sleep may affect your cardiovascular health, cognitive function, or healthy aging.

  • You are managing a complex respiratory or neuromuscular condition and need specialized, coordinated care.

You may have a clear diagnosis, unanswered questions, or simply the sense that something deserves closer attention.

We begin by listening, investigating thoughtfully, and understanding what matters most to you.

A Better Way Forward

The Aysola Center brings together decades of clinical experience, academic investigation, and scientific inquiry to provide a more thoughtful, individualized approach to sleep, respiratory, and restorative medicine.

Dr. Ravi Shankar Aysola has devoted his career to studying and treating disorders of sleep and breathing, investigating their physiological and neurological consequences, and caring for patients whose needs often extend beyond conventional approaches.

His expertise spans pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, with particular interests in respiratory physiology, brain health, complex sleep-disordered breathing, and the relationship between sleep, recovery, and human function.

At The Aysola Center, that experience translates into direct physician involvement, comprehensive evaluation, and care informed by scientific evidence and the circumstances of each patient's life.

We recognize that effective medical care requires more than identifying a diagnosis. It involves understanding how a condition affects the individual, determining what can meaningfully be improved, and developing a plan that respects the patient's goals, responsibilities, and priorities.

Whether you are managing a complex disorder, seeking another perspective, or taking a proactive approach to your health, our commitment is the same: careful listening, rigorous clinical reasoning, and personalized medical care.

The Aysola Center is now scheduling patients.

How it Works

01
Submit Your Inquiry

Contact our team and briefly describe the reason for your visit. We will provide information about scheduling, the consultation process, and next steps.

02
Intake Review

Relevant medical history, prior evaluations, and diagnostic studies are reviewed to help us understand your concerns and make the most of your consultation.

03
Initial Consultation

Meet directly with Dr. Aysola for an individualized medical evaluation that considers your symptoms, physiology, health history, daily function, and personal priorities.

04
Testing or Records Review

When clinically appropriate, additional testing may help clarify a diagnosis, characterize physiological abnormalities, or guide treatment decisions. Existing studies are incorporated whenever possible to avoid unnecessary repetition.

05
Your Personalized Plan

Together, we develop an evidence-based plan that addresses your clinical needs and fits the circumstances of your life. Recommendations may include treatment, further evaluation, coordination with other specialists, or changes to sleep and circadian routines.

06
Follow-Up and Optimization

When indicated, follow-up allows us to assess your response, refine treatment, and adapt your care as your health and circumstances evolve.

  • "Dr. Aysola is very patient oriented. He listens to what you have to say and presents resolutions in a way that makes you want to be compliant. I have a lot of medical issues and he takes everything into account when dealing with my pulmonary diagnoses. When he joined the UCLA practice, I was sure no one could be better than the doctor he replaced. I was so wrong - he is really outstanding."

  • "I am truly blown away by this physician. If I could give a 20/5 stars I would for his impeccable bedside manners, his amazing competency and his genuine eagerness to help take care of the root cause of the problem. He is passionate about practicing sleep medicine, takes the time to listen to you, gives you a thorough explanation for everything and he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Aysola to anyone seeking a fantastic sleep medicine physician. So grateful to have found him."

  • "Dr. Aysola spent a lot of time, answered every question that I had. He reviewed my chart gathering information from my cardiologist and my pulmonologist. I was very much relieved after speaking with him. he had his assistant Jasmine there during our call and she was simultaneously looking up the records while he was doing the same."
